Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister has urged Police Commanders and directors to intensify efforts to enrich capability of the police forces.

Sheikh Saif made the remarks as he chaired a meeting of the Interior Ministry's Policies and Strategies Council today. The meeting discussed the strategic performance policy for commanders of civil defence departments. It also reviewed the security statistics compiled by the Security Information Department.

Present during the meeting were Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'afar, the Ministry's Under Secretary, Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander General of Dubai Police, and other senior police officers.
