Hamad Ali Al Kaabi, UAE's Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), stated that the UAE posted milestones in developing infrastructures needed for developung a nuclear programme.

 He added that the country has drafted legislations regulating the businesses of parties involved in this programme. He was addressing the International Conference on Human Resource Development for Introducing and Expanding Nuclear Power Programmes.
