UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received a number of dignitaries representing Dubai’s founding families at the Ruler’s Court near Dubai Creek this evening, in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed his guests, expressing his great pleasure on meeting them in such historic surroundings. He paid tribute to the Dubai’s native fathers and grandfathers who have passed on the country’s time-honoured Arab and Islamic values to their successors.

Sampling some of the UAE’s traditional food and beverages, Sheikh Mohammed and his guests shared memories of historic national events, while recalling the benevolent deeds of the late Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

Also attending the meeting was Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
