Foreign Minister, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who received the Iranian Ambassador today at the Al-Nakheel Palace, decorated him with the Order. Sheikh Abdullah congratulated the ambassador and wished him success in his future assignment.

The outgoing ambassador expressed profound gratitude to the UAE President for the great honour. He praised Sheikh Khalifa for his wise policy and for the significant role he plays at the regional and international levels.

He also thanked UAE officials, in general and officials of the foreign ministry, in particular, for the cooperation he received during his tenure, which, he said, had contributed immensely in the successful discharge of his mission.
