Council Functions:
1- Proposing the population strategy of the UAE and defining the strategic directions related to population matters and raising them to the Cabinet for approval 2- Gathering information and data related to the demographic structure in the UAE from all the relevant ministries and entities. 3- Conducting research and analytical studies on the current situation of the demographic structure in the UAE, evaluating the relevant challenges, and studying the implications of implementing the plans, policies, and procedures proposed to address these challenges across various sectors and areas. 4- Compiling proposals and suggestions from relevant authorities in order to set out demographic structure policies in light of the population strategy. 5- Formulating and approving policies, systems, and resolutions that are consistent with the population strategy and that contribute to the achievement of its objectives. 6- Monitoring the extent to which federal and local government entities are implementing the laws, policies, systems, and resolutions related to the demographic structure, including the Emiratisation of vital production sectors, Emiratisation of jobs, and taking all necessary corrective steps and procedures towards this goal. 7- Establishing a comprehensive and fully integrated database of information, data, research, and analytical studies on demographic structure across all sectors. This database is intended to be a primary resource for the preparation of plans and the formulation of polices in the UAE. 8- Providing support for government entities in the implementation of legislation, policies, systems, and resolutions approved in light of the population strategy. 9- Exchanging information and experience with the relevant departments in ministries, authorities, institutions, and research centres on subject matters related to demographic structure. 10- Proposing legislation related to demographic structure in coordination with relevant entities.

Council Functions:
1- Handle all media affairs and coordinate the media policy amongst member emirates. This shall be done in such a manner that would conform to UAE foreign and local policy, support the federation and pinpoint concept of the national unity as a political entity that could provide stability to UAE nationals . 2- Supervise all mass media in the UAE . 3- Highlight the stances of the UAE at Arab and International meetings through the various possible means . 4- Represent the country in the media activities on the local and foreign level . 5- Supervise media offices abroad in association with ministry of foreign affairs . 6- Grant licenses to the private media agencies in the country . 7- Monitor the information content of all printed, transmitted and published matters and whatever imported from abroad . 8- Conduct media researches and studies . 9- Support and develop UAE national media capabilities . 10- Any other functions that are assigned to the council under the laws and resolutions issued by the cabinet .

Council Functions:
1- Enhance cooperation and coordination as well as exchange of expertise between federal and local judicial entities . 2- Consider common problems and challenges facing the two judicial authorities and propose the related proper solutions . 3- Have reciprocal advice on all matters relating to the applied administrative procedures in both justices and facilitate litigation procedures and mechanism of preparing, qualifying and training judges. 4- Strive to improve level of justice performance and justice administrators in such a manner that would keep up with international standards . 5- Endeavor to standardize legal principles and judgments passed on similar cases under investigation on the part of the two judicial authorities .

Minister of Health-Chairman And membership of the parties below:
1-Ministry of Health 2-Abu Dhabi Health Authority 3-Dubai Health Authority 4-Dubai Medical City 5- Medical Services of Ministry of Interior 6- Medical Services of the UAE Armed Forces 7-Two members of the private medical sector to be selected by minister of health
Council Functions:
1-Coordinate work amongst federal and local institutions and authorities providing health services across the country and in the private sector. This would ensure their integration and enhancement of medical services level . 2-Cooridnate with Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to draw up the academic policy on study of health and medical science within the UAE and abroad . 3-Exchange mutual expertise and encourage scientific researches and studies and support programs, activities and services in order to achieve general health policies related objectives . 4-Strenghten ties of cooperation amongst federal and local health authorities and Arab, regional and international health organizations . 5-Express opinion and advice on the medical insurance on the country level in coordination with the related parties . 6-Study the common issues facing health sector and take proper procedures in coordination with the concerned parties . 7-Study the draft laws, regulations and instructions pertaining to health sector and forward the necessary related recommendations to the appropriate authorities . 8-Coordinate with federal and local authorities for the purpose of organizing medical conferences, seminars and workshops on the country level and achieving the aspired objectives 9-Any other health sector related issues that the chairman deems to present to the council
Government Financial Policy Coordination Council
Council Members:
Director General of Finance Ministry-Chairman And membership of the following :
1- Executive director of Abu Dhabi Finance Department 2- Deputy Director General of Abu Dhabi Finance Department 3- Head of Sharjah Central Finance Department 4- Secretary General of Ajman Executive Council 5- Acting General Manager of Umm AL Quwein Finance and Administration department 6- Head of Fujairah Finance Department 7- Executive director of Ras Al Khaimah Investment and Development office, where the council selects from its members a vice chairman who replaces the chairman in his absence
Council Functions:
1- Collect government financial data and reports on the country level 2- Coordinate the government financial policies 3- Seek mutual consultation on balance sheet and budgets and areas of government spending on the country level in a manner that would support economic development across the UAE 4- Adopt the policies on developing and increasing revenues and tax policies 5- Study financing projects related mechanisms either by lending or bonds issuance 6- Handle the sovereign credit rating of the federal government and local governments

Council Functions:
1-Enhance integration between Ministry of Education and local academic councils and authorities in the area of implementation of academic strategies and policies adopted by the ministry 2-Express opinion on the draft laws, activities and policies pertaining to the educational process and propose the necessary amendments depending on economic and social developments 3-Build partnerships with the private sector and provide a mechanism for enhancing its social and economic contribution in education 4-Exchange expertise and opinions on school education output with the university education level requirements and labor market 5-Ensure that the future vision of the Ministry for the national education process and its strategic plans would meet the expectations and requirements of the sectors of the entire community . 6-Achieve full transparency whether in preparation of the strategic education plans or identification of education quality standards and provide the sectors concerned with educational process with full information about educational system management 7-Strive to standardize the database and statistics used on the local and federal level to ensure that the information provided is complete and consistent on the planning, implementation or evaluation level 8-Endeavor to circulate successful education and academic experiences on the local level 9-Establish standardized academic quality criteria, school levels and educational process resources on the local level 10-Strive to implement the approach adopted by the federal Ministry of Education in the area of academic plans, academic curriculum evaluation and exams systems

Council Functions:
1- Encouraging and nurturing tourism internally and externally 2- Preserving archeology, searching for it, taking the necessary measures to allocate and protect it, register it, nourish t, and demonstrate it internally and externally 3- Representing the nation abroad in all matters related to tourism and archeology 4- Submitting proposals for joining international treaties on matters related to tourism and archeology, and carrying out all obligations towards other nations in coordination with Ministry of Foreign Affairs 5- Cooperating with International government and non-government organizations, as well as with public and private entities having goals consistent with the council’s, in order to ensure implementation of its plans and execution of its projects .

Council Functions:
1- Proposing a strategy for organizing and developing the profession 2- Proposing criteria for teaching the profession and the criteria for accrediting educational programs and institutes in coordination with relevant entities 3- Proposing the conditions for accrediting health facilities as training centers for Nursing and housewifery in coordination with relevant entities 4- Proposing the criteria and the approved bases for leveraging the standards of the profession and proposing legislation relevant to the practice 5- Proposing the terms and conditions for continuing education and accreditation of specialization certificates in coordination with relevant entities according to effective laws and legislation 6- Proposing programs necessary for development of the human resources and building the technical capacity in nursing and housewifery including the capabilities of leadership positions in the Nursing Administration field. 7- Proposing criteria for registration and practice of the profession in agreement with effective legislation in the UAE 8- Proposing morals and ethics codes for the profession according to international best practice 9- Encouraging scientific research in the area of nursing and housewifery 10- Approving the aids and grants given to the council and agreeing with its objectives 11- Other responsibilities assigned to the council by the Minister
Council Members:

1. Ministry of Energy. 2. Ministry of Environment and Water. 3. Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA). 4. Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). 5. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). 6. Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA). 7. Any other entities the Cabinet decides to add as per the recommendation of the Council President.
Council Functions:
1- Advise in all areas that are of interest to the water and electricity sectors in the UAE. 2- Advise on the management, operation and development of the UAE National Electricity Network. 3- Provide advice on technical matters, administrative, legal and financial operations related to the linking of the GCC electricity networks with the UAE national network. 4- Coordination between water and electricity conservation programs through ongoing awareness campaigns at the state level, and enhancement of the conservation culture in the UAE. 5- Coordination on the adoption of an integrated framework for resource management of water desalination in the UAE. 6- Coordination of alternative and renewable energy initiatives. 7- Exchange of information, data, studies, reports and recommendations. 8- Encourage electricity and water authorities to standardize the technical specifications of electricity and water. 9- Consultation on disputes which may arise between electricity and water authorities and investment companies in this field in order to reach appropriate solutions.
