Government Accelerators

In October 2016, the Prime Minister’s Office issued a decree to establish the “Government Accelerators”, a new initiative that seeks to accelerate the progress on the objectives of the National Agenda of the UAE Vision 2021.

“Government Accelerators” form a platform for teams from various UAE government departments to work together, address challenges and achieve ambitious goals within short periods of time. The teams will work to develop indices, programmes, policies and services.
The initiative will accelerate the government’s pace of ongoing projects. It will also establish a culture of excellence and innovation in the public sector and enhances integration between government entities and the private sector.
